Application for membership

It wasn’t that long ago when people didn’t speak about “paranormal things”. Today the paranormal world is so diverse.  There are groups who study and investigate everything paranormal. There are groups that investigate for entertainment or historical reasons. There are also groups who study and investigate only certain specific phenomena's (UFO’s or Bigfoot). Having an interest in the paranormal is not enough. You must be ready to commit to learning what paranormal research is all about.

 G.R.A.S.P.P. is a professional organization looking for dedicated individuals to work with us. We tend to concentrate our research in the area of ghost and spirit research and stories.

We require all applicants to fill out an application as well as signing confidentially agreements, liability waivers, background check and publicity release forms. G.R.A.S.P.P. members must be ready to answer a call for help at any time, day or night. Yes, this really does happen.


GRASPP Membership requirements:

Each new member must meet the GRASPP Membership Requirements to join.  We place a high regard for commitment and professionalism from each member. Each new member will also be required to observe a probationary membership period for 6 months.  This probationary period is to help ensure the level of commitment we need members to maintain.

Must be at least 18

Must pay a yearly due to help fund group operations

Must be able to attend a minimum of 8 monthly meetings each year

Must be able to attend a minimum of 3 investigations each year

Must be willing to assist in evidence review and / or research.

Must be able to attend a minimum of 4 training events each year

Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout Michigan

Must be able to assist with events, tours and other fundraisers

Must be a team player, we have no room for anyone who can’t work as part of a team.


During the probationary period, a member cannot miss any meeting or training event without informing GRASPP of the need to.  Members may make arrangements to makeup these approved absenteeism’s.

GRASPP does require each member to pay a $50 yearly due, to help maintain the operations for the group.

If you are interested in joining a group with a history of working to find the truth in the paranormal world and helping those who are in need of answers, we want to hear from you! Applicants with a background in photography, computers, website design, data collection and other tech related skills will be reviewed first.
