Paranormal Phenomena

Everything is starting to come together for the first ever “Michigan’s Ghost Coast” paranormal convention! Don’t let the name fool you, this is not your average ghost convention.

We have already booked Michigan author Amberrose Hammond (Michigan’s Otherside – Ghosts and legends of Michigan’s West Coast, Wicked Ottawa County, to name a few…). We will also have William Konkolesky who is the Michigan director for MUFON. The crew from the “Upper Peninsula Bigfoot / Sasquatch Research Organization” will be here to show their research too. We have a couple of cool surprises that we are working for our headliners, but you will just have to check back to find out what they are! There will be Tarot readings, a dinner and even a séance. Other events are still in the works.

Set the dates on your calendar, June 29 & 30, 2018 at the Grand Haven Community center. Show times and ticket pricing are not yet available.

Announcing the first ever paranormal convention for the West Michigan area! That's right, GRASPP is working hard to bring you something completely new and bring it right here to Grand Haven in 2018!

I did say "completely new" and I meant it. This will not be your normal "meet the ghost hunting TV stars" type of event. The focus of this event will be centered on the Michigan Paranormal scene. We will have paranormal research groups, Bigfoot research experts and UFO experts all under one roof! We will have Michigan authors and paranormal experts for speaking events. Tech experts will be on hand with equipment to check out and purchase. This event is geared for your paranormal group to learn and grow as well as the fans of those "ghost hunting shows". Everything for the expert and the novice, including workshops and how to advice.

Linda Godfrey, Author

She appeared in, co-wrote and co-produced the History Channel's Monsterquest episode, "American Werewolf," based on her book "Hunting the American Werewolf" and also appeared in the show's season 4 finale.

She put over 5,000 miles on her "weirdmobile" and found enough strangeness to fill both Weird Michigan and Weird Wisconsin for Barnes & Noble in 2006, and the sequels, Strange Michigan and Strange Wisconsin for Trails Books.

Todd Clements, Author & Owner, Haunted Mackinaw

A journey that started over 30 years ago, when Todd was a child visiting Mackinac Island, he saw something that stayed with him all his life. He could not explain what he saw, but could only label it as a ghost. This one event sparked the curiosity of a young man and with a simple tape recorder and a set of dowsing rods, Todd began seeking out the unknown.

He has researched fields including U.F.O.s, Cryptids, Ghosts, and other unexplained phenomena. However, he has always returned to the place he had his first sighting, Mackinac Island, Michigan.

After high School, Todd pursued a degree in Psychology from the University of Mackinac, which helped him better understand how the human mind works. Not long after graduation he began research for his first book Haunts of Mackinac.

Once published, Haunts of Mackinac found great success and continues to be a best seller today. Due to public demand the book was followed up with a guided walking tour of Mackinac Island’s strange, tragic, and paranormal history. With what seems to be an insatiable thirst, many wanted more from Todd, and Haunts of Mackinac: The Next Chapter was published.

Considered to be the go to person on all things strange on Mackinac Island, Todd has in-depth knowledge of the island’s history, legends, ghosts, and strange occurrences. Which has led to appearances on several documentaries, SyFy Channel’s Ghost Hunters, and other national and local media outlets.
