A Paranormal Research Company

Announcing the first ever paranormal convention for the West Michigan area! That's right, GRASPP is working hard to bring you something completely new and bring it right here to Grand Haven in 2018!

I did say "completely new" and I meant it. This will not be your normal "meet the ghost hunting TV stars" type of event. The focus of this event will be centered on the Michigan Paranormal scene. We will have paranormal research groups, Bigfoot research experts and UFO experts all under one roof! We will have Michigan authors and paranormal experts for speaking events. Tech experts will be on hand with equipment to check out and purchase. This event is geared for your paranormal group to learn and grow as well as the fans of those "ghost hunting shows". Everything for the expert and the novice, including workshops and how to advice.

Shetan Noir, Author

Shetan noir has had an interest in the paranormal and cryptozoology from a young age.

She teaches workshops on dealing with the paranormal and about Michigan's cryptozoology. Including Detroit's own Nain rouge.

Shetan is the contact person and leader of the Michigan Chapter of the North American dogman project.  She also owns the podcast “Into the liminal abyss” and runs the Facebook group Michigan's center for unexplained events and phenomenon.

Shetan is also writing a book on the lake monsters of the greats lakes and a guide to dealing with the paranormal.

Michigan's Ghost Coast

Paranormal Convention

Elks Lodge Seance - The Elks Lodge is a graceful old structure in downtown Grand Haven, home to many great times and a few spirits of its own!  It is so lively with spirits that GRASPP uses the Elks Lodge as THE training grounds for new members.  GRASPP welcomes you to a first ever, limited seat event to make potential contact with the spirits that live there.  The Vengeful Hippy will be holding an exclusive seance after the VIP BBQ dinner on Friday, June 29th.

What to expect:
This seance is for entertainment purposes only.  We will attempt to make connection with the spirits that reside in the Elks Lodge.  There are no guarantees during any seance, but some things you can be prepared for are:
Connecting with a small group of people in an intimate, dimly lit setting.
Interesting sensations and emotions that may not be your own.
Possible mediumship (sometimes a spirit chooses to enter a participant and speak through them).
Be prepared for the possibility that sometimes the spirits choose not to connect.

Every effort is made to only connect with positive spirits, however, there is the possibility that a negative spirit can make its way into the space.  There will be other Sensitives in the vicinity if a participant feels the need for one-on-one psychic care or smudging.   Other tools for connection may be used such as an Ouija board, pendulum, crystals, tarot cards, or witching rods.  The session is expected to last 1.5 to 2 hours but has the potential to be longer or shorter.  We will be conducting this session in a cooler part of the Lodge, so please bring appropriate clothing for your comfort such as sweaters, coats, jackets or lap blankets.
Ticket seating for this event is limited and will only be available for one show only on Friday night, June 29th, 2018.

Todd Clements, Author & Owner, Haunted Mackinaw

A journey that started over 30 years ago, when Todd was a child visiting Mackinac Island, he saw something that stayed with him all his life. He could not explain what he saw, but could only label it as a ghost. This one event sparked the curiosity of a young man and with a simple tape recorder and a set of dowsing rods, Todd began seeking out the unknown.

He has researched fields including U.F.O.s, Cryptids, Ghosts, and other unexplained phenomena. However, he has always returned to the place he had his first sighting, Mackinac Island, Michigan.

After high School, Todd pursued a degree in Psychology from the University of Mackinac, which helped him better understand how the human mind works. Not long after graduation he began research for his first book Haunts of Mackinac.

Once published, Haunts of Mackinac found great success and continues to be a best seller today. Due to public demand the book was followed up with a guided walking tour of Mackinac Island’s strange, tragic, and paranormal history. With what seems to be an insatiable thirst, many wanted more from Todd, and Haunts of Mackinac: The Next Chapter was published.

Considered to be the go to person on all things strange on Mackinac Island, Todd has in-depth knowledge of the island’s history, legends, ghosts, and strange occurrences. Which has led to appearances on several documentaries, SyFy Channel’s Ghost Hunters, and other national and local media outlets.
